Noel Work the Dress/ North Georgia Wedding Photographer

2011 - It was a Perfect day for another WTD session in a little town in North Georgia. A few pictures on the tracks, and such -- just a girl in a gown, having some fun! We had a blast and started to call it a wrap and load up for the day. Just then Noel spoke up and told us that she had had a dream the night before. Her dream was about coming home, back to where her great grandparents and grandparents had lived since the 1800’s. She just couldn’t shake the dream so we decided to see what it was all about. Just off a shaded road, there it was…the old home place. As we arrived to our destination, the sun was leaving its final touches for the day. I could see the shadows dancing on the porch, as if they were excited to see an old friend. I could smell the fragrance of… years gone by. Noel began to tell us stories of her childhood, memories of years gone by and her untamed desire to come back home…it had been a long time…….it’s where she belonged…..it was in her blood. I watched as she stepped onto the porch, caressed the rails, as if to say…I’m home. It has been said that our eyes are the windows to our soul and our dreams are the voices of our souls…calling us home….to stay….forever !
